broken liturgy is a contemplative gathering that started in the rust-best streets of eastern Pennsylvania. it’s an hour of immersive song, word, touch, and movement. it’s kairos as community and community as kairos.
Musician/pastor John Hardt works with writer/urban minister Christopher Cocca and visual artist/chaplain Lin Preiss to convene broken liturgy events across the midatlantic and northeast engaging the homeless, the hapless, and the hipster in liturgical spaces that embrace doubt, lament, and blessedly foolish hope.
